My Fourteenth Design: Silver Lining Flower

 

On 20 March 2021, Turkey withdrew from the Istanbul Contract, which provided a legal basis for the protection women and LGBTI+ individuals from violence.

On the same day, I created a hexagonal flower. One of my friends offered me the name, Silver Lining. I liked it. So be it.

I want to believe that every cloud has a silver lining. And this flower is my statement.

How to fold the Silver Lining flower

Step 1

Prepare a hexagonal paper.

Step 2

Fold it like the water bomb base.

Step 3

Fold the bottom tip to the top.

Step 4

Unfold the paper and see the hexagon in the middle.

Step 5

Squash fold the small hexagon.

Step 6

Hold the paper like that.

Step 7

Fold the corner a little like that.

Step 8

Repeat five more times.

Step 9

Hold the upper corner like this.

Step 10

Repeat five more times.

Step 11

Tuch the corner fold inside.

Step 12

Repeat five more times.

Step 13

Fold the side of a petal to the left and to the right. Like a kite.

Step 14

Repeat five more times. Version 1 is ready.

Step 15

Fold a petal once more like the bird base.

Step 16

Repeat five more times. Version 2 is ready.
