My Thirty-Eighth Design: Kınalı Froebel Variation

 I created this design on 6 May 2021. It has two variations, one is ornament and one is bowl.

Kınalı is one of the Princes' Islands. It means "something with a reddish color." 

How to fold Kınalı Froebel Variation

Step 1

Fold a windmill base.

Step 2

Fold the corners up to the top.

Step 3

Unfold and fold the middle corners to the crease.

Step 4

Unfold and fold the upper corners to the last crease.

Step 5

Squash fold the corners.

Step 6 

Fold the quarter of the corners inside.

Step 7

Fold one flap to the middle as shown.

Step 8

Fold the other flap to the middle, too.

Step 9

Fold the corner up as it can go.

Step 10

Repeat step 7-8-9 three more times.

Step 11

Fold the middle corners up, a little above the reference corners. First variation is ready.

Step 12

Squash the sides in the middle to the crease below.

Step 13

After you repeat it for all sides, the second variation is also ready.
