My Thirty-Sixth Design: Burgaz Froebel Variation

 I created this design on 6 May 2021. It's an ornament with hearts and has two variations.

Burgaz is one of the Princes' Islands, and it means a town that has a castle or a building likewise.

How to fold the Burgaz Froebel Variation

Step 1

Fold a windmill base.

Step 2

Fold the corners half to the top.

Step 3

Unfold and fold the middle corners to the crease.

Step 4

Unfold and fold the upper corners to the last crease.

Step 5

Squash fold the corners.

Step 6

Fold the side flap to the middle as shown below.

Step 7

Repeat on the other flap.

Step 8

Repeat for all flaps.

Step 9

Fold the middle corners inside so that they won't poke out of the hearts.

Step 10

Fold the tips of the hearts.

Step 11

Repeat for all of them. The ornament is ready.

Step 12

If you want to make a 3D ornament, pinch the corners.

Step 13

Fold the pinched corners inside.

Step 14

Fold the model over and secure the corners by folding the tips to one side.

Step 15

Turn the model over. It should look like that.

Step 16

Fold the middle tips up. And the second variation is ready.
