I created this variation on 19 June 2021. 

How to fold Oval Froebel Variation 3

Step 1

Fold a windmill base.

Step 2

Fold the opposite corners in half.

Step 3

Fold the other opposite corners in fourths.

Step 4

Squash fold all the corners.

Step 5

Fold each side corner to the middle of its part.

Step 6

Squash fold all of them.

Step 7

Turn the model over and fold the squash folded corners back.

Step 8 

Turn the model over. Your unit is ready.
