My Twenty-Seventh Design: Tatavla Froebel Variation

 

I created Tatavla Froebel variation on 21 April 2021. 

Tatavla is the former name of the neighborhood, Kurtuluş, in Istanbul.

How to fold Tatavla Froebel variation

Step 1

Fold a windmill base. 

Step 2

Fold the corners in half. Unfold. And fold them in half again.

Step 3

Squash fold the corners.

Step 4

Turn the model over and fold the corners back.

Step 5

Repeat three more times.

Step 6

Fold the side flaps in as shown below.

Step 7

Repeat three more times. First variation is ready.

Step 8

Turn the model over and fold the sides as shown below.

Step 9

Repeat three more times.

Step 10

Turn the model over. The second version is ready.

Step 11

(From Step 7) Fold the outer middle corners up. The third variation is ready.

Step 12

Fold the inner middle corners. The fourth variation is ready.

Step 13

Turn the model over and fold the sides as shown below.

Step 14

Turn the model over. The fifth (if you don't fold the inner corners) and sixth variations are ready.
