My Twenty-Eighth Design: Fener Froebel Variation

I created the Fener Froebel Variation on 21 April 2021.

Fener is a nice neighborhood in Istanbul.

How to fold the Fener Froebel Variation

Step 1

Fold the windmill base.

Step 2

Fold the quarter of the corners.

Step 3

Squash fold the corners.

Step 4

Fold one of the flaps to the the point shown below.

Step 5

Unfold and fold half way.

Step 6

Fold the flap back as shown below.

Step 7

Fold the opposite corner to the other line. Fold it in half and then fold it back like the previous step.

Step 8

Repeat step 6-7 three more times. 

Step 9

Turn the model over and fold the corners back.

Step 10

Turn the model over. First variation is ready.

Step 11

Fold the outer middle corners up. Second variation is ready.

Step 12

Fold the inner middle corners up. Third variation is ready.

Step 13

Fold the sides back.

Step 14

Turn the model over. Fourth variation is ready. You can apply step 13 to step 10 and get the fifth variation. You can apply step 13 to step 11 and get the sixth variation.
