My Eighty-Seventh Design New Hope Star

I created this two variations on 22 November 2021. I created a unit a couple days ago. I didn't know what to do with it. Then, I added a step and these came out as perfect Christmas stars. 

The pieces are glued in themselves and with each other. So, prepare your glue. There is no color change. Double sided paper isn't a must.

How to fold the New Hope star

Step 1

Fold a square base.

Step 2

Fold one flap up.

Step 3

Turn over and fold the opposite flaps.

Step 4

Turn the paper over to see the unfolded flaps.

Step 5

Fold both sides from the closed corner to the middle line.

Step 6

Turn the paper over and repeat Step 5.

Step 7

Take out the flaps in between.

Step 8

Work on one side. Fold one part as shown.

Step 9

Fold the other side in the same way.

Step 10 

Glue the unit in the middle.

Step 11

Wait like that until it dries out.

Step 12

Turn the paper over and glue the back flaps, too. This is the unit for both variations.

Step 13

For variation one, you can glue the pieces as shown.

Step 14

For variation 2, you can glue the pieces as shown.
