My Eighty-Fifth Design: Sakura Flower Variation

 
I created this design on 27 October 2021, after I folded the Flor Amor on @oliviaorigamidecor's Reels. It's a variation of the traditional kirigami sakura flower with five petals.

How to fold the Sakura Flower variation

Step 1

Take one square flower for one petal.

Step 2

Fold one diagonal.

Step 3

Fold both flaps to the middle.

Step 4

Fold one of the top flaps down.

Step 5

Fold the tips of both side flaps back and unfold.

Step 6

Fold the model sideways as shown.

Step 7

Open up the little petals as shown.

Step 8

Glue five petals as shown.
