My Fifty-Seventh Design: Cihangir Cat Wreath

I created this design on 4 July 2021. It is made of cats! :) I already have a Cihangir bowl. But Cihangir is famous for its cats. So, this will be a "Cihangir", too.

The result is not flat but concave. So, it's a little different compared to my other wreaths or mandalas.

How to fold the Cihangir cat wreath

Step 1

Fold a windmill base. 

Step 2

Fold two opposite corners in half. Fold one corner in fourths. And don't fold the opposite corner.

Step 3

Squash fold the three corners.

Step 4

Fold the figure in half. And there you have the unit. You'll need six of them.

Step 5

Assemble the units on the front like shown below. You may need a glue to hold them in place.

Step 6

Assemble the units on the back as shown below. You can tuck the corners inside each other.
