My Sixtieth Design: Fındıklı Froebel Bowl

I created this model on 3 July 2021. It has two versions.

How to fold the Fındıklı bowl

Step 1

Fold 8x8 grids.

Step 2

Turn the paper over and fold all diagonals except corners.

Step 3

Fold the corners like the windmill base.

Step 4

Fold the corners in half and unfold.

Step 5

Squash fold the corners.

Step 6

Turn the paper over. You have a shape like that.

Step 7

Fold the paper as shown. Use the existing creases.

This is how it looks on the other side.

Step 8

Repeat on all sides.

Step 9

Fold the corner flaps inside the back of the squash fold to lock the corners.

Step 10

Repeat on all corners. The open version is ready.

Step 11

You can go on by locking the sides. Fold the flap inside once or twice.

Step 12

Repeat on all flaps.

Step 13

Turn the model over. The closed version is ready.
